Job Description

  • Create project schedules that align with the game team's requirements; agree on project resource needs, work flows, and milestones.
  • Prioritise tasks to minimise bottlenecks while ensuring the production process matches the game studio's requirements.
  • Monitor and identify project risks; spot risks before they become issues and develop mitigation plans.
  • Manage changes through a change request process, and clearly communicate to project stakeholders the nature, cost, and priority of change requests.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members through regular one-on-one meetings and weekly team meetings.
  • Identify and mitigate employee turnover risks.
  • Reward and recognise good performers through quarterly team performance reviews, promotions, and salary adjustments, while identifying and assisting under performing employees to improve their capabilities.

The Successful Applicant

    • 5+ years of game development experience, with at least 1 - 2 years of practical experience in project management using Agile/scrum methodologies; PMP certification is a plus.
    • Strong process thinking and excellent documentation skills.
    • Proficient in project management software, including but not limited to: JIRA, Confluence, Shotgun
    • Ability to communicate across all levels of the organisation, including negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution skills; adaptable to a team environment, with experience in successfully building close working relationships with remote locations and global teams.
    • Experience in people management, including performance tracking and career development planning.
    • Fluent in spoken English and Mandarin (essential).
