The successful candidate will oversee production, maintenance, quality control, and safety operations while driving continuous improvement initiatives. The factory is entering a 2-year expansion phase, requiring leadership with proven experience in scaling operations and optimizing efficiency.

Job Description



  1. Operational Leadership​
    • Manage daily operations across production, maintenance, quality, and safety teams.
    • Ensure compliance with international quality standards (e.g., ISO, IATF 16949) and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, local Chinese standards).
    • Lead the factory's 2-year expansion project, including capacity planning, resource allocation, and process optimization.


  2. ​Efficiency & Lean Manufacturing​
    • Drive continuous improvement through lean production methodologies (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma).
    • Analyze production KPIs, reduce waste, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
    • Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or safety.


  3. ​Team Management​
    • Mentor and develop a multicultural team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
    • Coordinate with HR to ensure workforce alignment with business goals.


  4. ​Stakeholder Collaboration​
    • Liaise with engineering, procurement, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations.
    • Report progress to senior management and support strategic decision-making.

The Successful Applicant

  • ​Education:​​ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • ​Experience:​
    • At least 15 years working experience in automative industry, minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Plant Manager​​ or equivalent leadership role.
    • Familar with Actuators, Solenoid, Valves or similar products. Preferred candidates with mechnical engineer background.
    • Demonstrated expertise in Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement frameworks.
  • ​Skills:​
    • Fluency in ​​both English and Mandarin​​ (written and spoken).
    • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP/MES systems and data-driven decision-making tools.
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities and crisis management skills.
  • ​Certifications:​​ Lean Six Sigma (Black/Green Belt), PMP, or equivalent preferred.
