Job Description Strategic Leadership & Planning: Develop and implement long-term strategic plans for the plant, aligning with corporate goals and objectives. Set performance targets and KPIs to measure success. Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient and safe operation of all manufacturing processes, equipment, and facilities. Optimize production schedules to maximize capacity utilization and minimize downtime. Quality Management: Maintain and improve product quality through adherence to ISO standards and regulatory requirements. Implement quality control procedures and address quality issues promptly. Cost Control & Efficiency: Identify and implement cost-saving measures, such as process improvements, material optimization, and energy conservation. Monitor and analyze production costs to enhance profitability. Safety & Compliance: Foster a culture of safety by ensuring strict adherence to all OSHA and other relevant safety regulations. Lead safety training programs and incident investigation processes. Team Management & Development: Build and maintain a high-performing team by recruiting, coaching, mentoring, and evaluating staff. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes innovation and personal growth. Project Management: Lead capital projects and continuous improvement initiatives, managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. Customer Focus: Maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and expectations, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the fine chemicals, pharmaceutical, or similar manufacturing industries, with at least 5 years in a plant management role. Proven track record of driving operational excellence, cost reduction, and process improvements. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. In-depth understanding of ISO standards, OSHA regulations, and other relevant industry standards. Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
