Job Description

1. Drive future-fit technology development and application of materials from renewable source for homecare product application.
2. Connect with local & global institutes, suppliers, 3rd party for synthetic biology, microbiome, biotechnology, bioscience and carbon upcycling technologies.
3. Evaluate the efficacy from raw materials to full formulation. Translate technologies into consumer benefits.
4. Deliver effective reporting of scientific data, including peer-reviewed publications, and patents.
5. Communicate and work closely with global R&D team to incorporate new technologies into products.

The Successful Applicant

* PhD with 1-3 years working experience in Bioscience / Biotechnology / Synthetic biology or Microbiology is a strong plus.
* Experience in biosurfactant, enzyme, microbiome, or related fields.
* Strong experience in Bioscience / Biotechnology / Synthetic Biology or Microbiology or Biochemical Engineering or Fine Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or Material Science or related research with proven record of successful delivery of technical solutions
* Awareness of business innovations - be able to drive from science discovery to new technology application in consumer products
* Be pro-active and self-motivated to engage with project leaders and team members.
* Be creative. Have team spirit, strong responsibility and clear logistic thinking.
* Proficient in both written and spoken English
* Experienced in (home care or similar product) formulation/prototype development is a plus.
