As a China- Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing business plans that drive sales growth within modern trade and CVS retail channels. You will work with key stakeholders to optimize product placement, promotional strategies, and overall profitability, ensuring that long-term business objectives are met.

Job Description

  • Business Planning & Execution: Create and manage business plans for key customers, collaborating with KO Bottlers to achieve growth targets and KPIs.
  • Profitability Management: Work alongside bottlers on P&L analysis, controlling long-term investments to enhance channel profitability.
  • Category & Sales Activation: Train staff on category tools to influence customer purchasing decisions, driving category growth and annual targets.
  • Promotional Planning: Develop and execute promotional campaigns and customer activations in partnership with marketing teams, delivering an impactful promotional calendar.
  • Retail Execution & Compliance: Ensure key accounts and bottlers adhere to company execution guidelines for product sales and merchandising.
  • Incentive Programs: Design and implement incentive campaigns with key customers and partners to drive sales performance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Key Account Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in retail, wholesale, or distributor environments.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales forecasting, Nielsen/IRI data analysis, POS systems, and inventory reporting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills for business analysis and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of sales cycles, budgeting, and P&L management.
  • Fluent English required, with prior experience managing direct reports.
  • Deep understanding of industry trends, category insights, and market dynamics.
